Lesson plan


For a teacher lesson plan is the key or a guide to get successful learning in class. a teacher should well-prepared with the materials and the strategies or techniques, but some of teacher they just do the learning as usual as they have. Here, I have the sample of lesson plan that I made in my teaching of psychology to make the teacher easier to transfer knowledge.
LESSON PLAN

Subject                       : Art
Level                           : Beginner / Intermediate
Students                     : 7th Grade of Senior High School
Time                           : 45 minutes
Lesson topic               : Writing Procedure Text
Lesson Objective       :
-          The students will be able to identify the generic structure of procedure text.
-          The students will be able to make a simple procedure text.
Language Objective  :
-          The students will be able to identify a sequence of actions or steps the way making something.
Learning Materials   :
-          Procedure text (e.g. How to make a coffee, How to make an envelope)
-          Pictures related the text
-          White board
-          Worksheet procedure text
Learning Methods:
-          Question/Answer
-          Discussion
-          Group work
Learning Activities:
Into:  (10 minutes)
·         The teacher greeting
·         The teacher elicits the students with simple question answer related to procedure text. (e.g. have you ever made something?, Do you know how to make it?)
·         The students are explained about procedure text.
·         The students are explained the structure of procedure text (The goal, Ingredients, steps)
·         The students are given an example of procedure text. e.g. How to make a coffee.
·         The teacher show pictures, and then the students try to guess what is it doing? Then, teacher writes it down in the white board.

Through: (30 minutes)
·         The students are divided into 5 or 6 small groups.
·         Each group is given a set of pictures about procedure text.
·         The students are asked to arrange the picture then write the procedure.
·         Each group presents the task.

Beyond: (5 minutes)
·         The teacher gives summary about the lesson.
·         The students are given assignment to make procedure text by their own.
